About the Artist: Jeffoire Spiegel
Jeffoire Spiegel lives in Corinth, Vermont. After an illustrious career as a school administrator he began to pursue art in earnest at the age of 40. In his sculpture and painting, Jeff works with a variety of media, including: plaster, acrylics, oil and spray paint, found metal objects, and wood from his own cherry and ash trees.
Jeff has studied with artists at the AVA Gallery and Court Street Arts. A member of Vermont North by Hands, his works have been exhibited in galleries in New Hampshire and Vermont.
His semi-abstract works rest in the space between dreams and recollections: representing insights about nature, life experiences, and daydreams. Each piece serves as a metaphor, embarking on its own loosely defined journey, riddled with surprises, and each one utterly unique.
